I can't believe the difference in my hair using this flat iron compared to my old one. Maybe this one is just more idiot proof, but it looks and feels exactly like when I get it done at a salon. I am super happy with this thing and I only wish I had just gotten a good one years ago.

It's also definitely authentic. I registered it on the GHD site.

First, I was worried if it is an authentic product, after I received it, I was able to register, so it is real! :)

I don't find this product is too much better than my Conair one. GHD does heat up very quick, but it doesn't have a good grip on my hair, unless i spray some heat protector or other hair product before using it. WHen i clip it, the disks can't be fully closed, so there is a gap to allow my hair to escape.

Overall, I think it is a good product, but it is very over priced.

Just wanted to share that I just registered the styler and it's authentic. Good deal, but I mistakenly thought I was getting the hairdryer, which comes with the deluxe version for a little more. Oops. This straightener in a few minutes tamed my hair - a huge upgrade from my prior iron. I'm a believer!
