A friend recommended this laptop to me after they bought their's at Christmastime. It's my first laptop replacing my desktop and I didn't know what I wanted or needed. Basically I use my PC to play games online and stream video, along with Facebook and answering emails. What made me buy this laptop in particular was the memory, large HD screen and full-size keyboard. What I love about the laptop besides the ease of setting it up (I know how to use a computer but never set one up before - I took it out of the box, set up the computer and my new wireless router and was playing games within an hour!)is how fast it is! I also love the screen. I watched Biggest Loser the other night (they were visiting New Zealand) and the picture quality was fantastic! The images were stunning and I got the chills watching the scenery! I like the full size keyboard however I'm not used to it and find myself hitting other keys - I think with use it will improve.

I do not like the mouse as other reviewers have also stated. Its okay for some things, but I found a wonderful wireless mouse (Microsoft 5000) on sale at Staples for $20 that makes playing the games I play online much better. It was easy to set up and I'm very pleased with it.

I would highly recommend this laptop - it suits me and my needs very well and I'm so happy I purchased it!

The laptop if fine - runs fast, great display. Hate the bloatware, but who doesn't.

Here's the problem - whatever idiot that designed the mouse interface should be forced to use it as his/her only mouse for the next ten years. It's too far to the left (indicating the idiot was a southpaw!) so it's comfortable to operate when the laptop is about a foot to your right. Now you can't see the monitor. The buttons are integrated into the deck, so unless you're a weightlifter, it's gonna be a challenge to push the buttons. You won't notice it till you own the stupid thing.

Buy yourself a real mouse. Yes, it's a pain in my keister EVERY time I use my laptop. But it works. There's a place in hell for the engineer of this thing, and the only thing in his cell is this laptop's user interface.

I bought this laptop because of the 17 inch wide screen which is exceptional. My husband played on my computer and loved it. When his laptop recently ceased to function, he was quick to purchase the same computer I had for himself. It has everything we need or could possibly want.
