The rug colors look much brighter on the internet, and on the product propaganda that came with it. The gold and yellow colors are actually muted, closer to brown and tan than gold / yellow.

The carpet is thin as others have said, and it will definitely need a grippy pad because ours is laid on hardwood. I won't be sad when it's time to replace it, but for now, it is doing the job we needed it to.

Looks true to picture in color and design. Bought it for a temporary rug for fall and winter. Only down fall is shows all dirt, so vacumn it a lot and there is a few beige carpet fibers that show thru. It does lay flat, with no problem. I am happy with it.
